Aneurysm-NL unites clinicians, scientists, and patients across the Netherlands to advance understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of aneurysmal disease.
Our mission is to build a sustainable national infrastructure that integrates clinical data, imaging, biobanking, and genetics, enabling collaborative research and innovation that directly improves patient outcomes and prevents aneurysm-related morbidity and mortality.

Ambition

We aim to establish the Netherlands as an international frontrunner in aneurysm research and care.
By connecting existing expertise across medical centers and disciplines, Aneurysm-NL will create the first federated national aneurysm database and biobank, develop precision medicine strategies, and accelerate the translation of novel therapies from bench to bedside.
Our ultimate ambition is to shift the paradigm from late-stage repair to early detection, risk prediction, and targeted prevention of aneurysmal disease.
